Does the Toyota 4Runner Need Skid Plates?

The 4Runner's body-on-frame construction and solid rear axle make it a capable trail vehicle, but its factory undercarriage protection is minimal. How Do Skid Plates Install on a Tacoma or 4Runner?

CRL skid plates bolt to existing factory frame mounting holes. No welding, cutting, or permanent modification is required. The front skid plate installs with hardware that replaces or supplements the OEM plastic pan hardware. Most installs take 1-2 hours with a floor jack, jack stands, and basic hand tools. The plates ship with all required hardware.
