Quick answer: For most Toyota 4Runner owners, the best LED light bar is a 32-inch bar in a vehicle-specific front mount: the hidden grille kit on a 2014-2024 (5th gen) 4Runner, or the 32-inch Lo Pro Grille kit on a 2025+ (6th gen) 4Runner. For more distance, add a 42- or 43-inch bar to a Cali Raised LED Premium Roof Rack, where the adjustable wind deflector hides it on the street. A pair of hood-hinge ditch lights covers the sides of the trail, and a fog light replacement kit is the easiest upgrade if you don't want a bar at all.
Which kit fits depends on your 4Runner's generation, your trim and whether you run a steel bumper or a roof rack. This guide covers every Cali Raised LED 4Runner lighting kit for the 6th gen (2025+), 5th gen (2010-2024) and 4th gen (2003-2009), with what fits and the tradeoffs of each mount location.

The 6th gen 4Runner shares several lighting designs with the 2024+ Tacoma. See them all in the 2025+ 4Runner LED light mount kits collection.
Laser-cut brackets hold a 32-inch Lo Pro bar flush to the bumper, so the whole light face is exposed. The listing says no modifications are required, and it includes the 32-inch Lo Pro light bar, a wiring harness and installation hardware. A switch is not included; the matching OEM-style square "BUMPER LIGHT BAR" switch is sold separately. Fitment note: it is not compatible with 2025+ 4Runner Limited trims with the chrome bumper, because of extra tabs and interference with the grille shutter.
32" Lo Pro bar, flush-mount brackets, harness and hardware. Not for Limited trims with the chrome bumper.
View kit →The 2025+ fog light replacement kit swaps the factory fog lights for two 6-inch light bars in white or amber, rated at 30 watts and 3,500 lumens each (7,000 lumens total). It uses the existing mounting points with no cutting or drilling and comes pre-wired for an OEM plug-and-play connection.
The Premium Roof Rack for the 2025+ 4Runner is a 100% bolt-on design with no cutting, drilling or major modifications. Its Adjustable LED Wind Deflector conceals the front light bar on the street and moves in seconds to expose it on the trail. The matching front light bar kit adds a 42-inch white dual-row bar (spot or combo) or a 43-inch dual-function bar, with an optional square OEM-style switch. It fits the Cali Raised LED Premium Roof Rack only. More detail is in our 6th gen 4Runner roof rack guide.
The 2025+ ditch light bracket kit mounts at the hood hinges, doesn't affect opening or closing the hood, and includes two pods (18W 3x2 white, 18W 3x2 amber or 27W side-projecting) and a harness, with an optional square "Ditch Light" switch.
Planning a steel bumper? The 2025+ 4Runner Stealth Front Bumper is designed around the Cali Raised LED 32-inch light bar (single-row or dual-row, dual-row preferred) and works with factory sensors, cameras and Toyota Safety Sense. See every option in the 2025+ 4Runner front bumpers collection.
The 5th gen has the widest choice of mounts. Browse them in the 2010-2024 4Runner LED light mount kits collection.
A 32-inch dual-row bar (spot or combo) mounts inside the lower bumper opening, behind the factory grille, so the truck keeps its original face until you light it up. The listing says no modifications are required. The bracket is unusual because it can hold two Cali Raised LED light bars, but 4Runners with the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) sensor can mount only one. If you run two bars, you will need two single-leg wiring harnesses. The kit includes the brackets, the bar and a wiring harness, with an optional small OEM-style switch.
One or two 32" dual-row bars behind the grille. TSS-equipped trucks fit one bar.
View options →The Stealth Front Bumper for the 2014-2024 4Runner is designed for a 32-inch dual-row light bar mounted behind the faceplate, and you can order it with a 32-inch spot or combo bar and an optional small switch. It is winch-ready for most 8,000-12,000 lb winches, works with Toyota Safety Sense and installs with a bolt-on design after trimming the factory plastic bumper. Compare styles in the 5th gen 4Runner front bumpers collection.
On a 5th gen, the Premium Roof Rack for 2010-2024 is 100% bolt-on at the factory mounting points, with no cutting, drilling or permanent modification. Its Adjustable LED Wind Deflector helps hide the bar and reduce wind noise, and the 2010-2024 front light bar kit adds a 42-inch white dual-row bar (spot or combo) or a 43-inch dual-function bar, with an optional small OEM-style switch. The rack is rated at 500 lb dynamic and 1,000 lb static. See the 5th gen 4Runner roof rack guide for how it compares.
Prefer a bar without a rack? The 52-inch curved roof kit mounts a 52-inch curved dual-row bar (spot or combo) directly to the roof, with brackets, hardware and a harness. Installation requires drilling into the roof, so plan for that before you order.
The 2014-2024 fog light pod kit replaces the factory fog light mounts with brackets that hold 3x2 18W white or amber pods, with H11 OEM adapters. Expect minimal trimming of plastic. If your 4Runner did not come with factory fog lights, you will also need the dual leg wiring harness and a switch. Prefer a factory-style housing? The amber-lens LED fog light replacements bolt in where the factory fog light assemblies come out and are IP68 rated.
The 2010-2024 ditch light kit uses the same hood-hinge design, with two pods (18W white, 18W amber or 27W side-projecting), a harness and an optional small "Ditch Light" switch. Our ditch light setup guide covers aiming and wiring.
The 4th gen kits are in the 2003-2009 4Runner LED light mounts collection. Both front kits mount off factory hardware and take a 32-inch dual-row bar only.
1. Start with your trim and sensors. On a 2014-2024 4Runner with the TSS sensor, the hidden grille kit fits one bar, not two. On a 2025+ Limited with the chrome bumper, the Lo Pro Grille kit doesn't fit.
2. Match the mount to how you drive. Mostly pavement with some dirt roads: a grille-level bar or a fog light kit. Fast forest or desert roads: add a roof bar for distance; the Premium Roof Rack's wind deflector keeps it hidden and quieter on the highway. Tight, slow trails: ditch lights light the sides, where a forward-facing bar can't reach.
3. Think about your bumper plans. If a steel front bumper is on your list, the Stealth Front Bumper's built-in 32-inch light bar mount can replace a separate grille kit.
4. Pick the beam and color. Spot is a focused pattern for distance; combo blends focused and wider light and is the more forgiving choice for a single bar. Amber pods and fog lights cut glare in dust, rain and snow.
5. Plan the switch and check local rules. Most kits offer an optional OEM-style switch; check whether your dash takes a tall, small or square switch. Auxiliary lighting rules vary by state, so check your vehicle code before running off-road lights on the street.
Cali Raised LED mounting brackets are laser-cut and fabricated in-house in Fort Worth, Texas, and Cali Raised LED products carry a 2-year warranty (third-party products may differ; see the warranty page). Building a Tacoma too? Read the Tacoma light bar guide.
Cali Raised LED's grille, lower-bumper and Stealth Bumper mounts for every 4Runner generation are built around a 32-inch bar. Roof options use a 42- or 43-inch bar on the Premium Roof Rack, or a 52-inch curved bar with the roof bracket kit.
Yes, on 2014-2024 4Runners without the Toyota Safety Sense sensor. The hidden grille bracket holds two Cali Raised LED bars, but trucks with the TSS sensor can mount only one. Two bars need two single-leg wiring harnesses.
A 32-inch Lo Pro Grille light bar kit, a fog light replacement kit with two 6-inch light bars, a ditch light kit, a 42- or 43-inch front light bar kit for the Premium Roof Rack, and the 2025+ Stealth Front Bumper with a 32-inch light bar mount. The grille kit does not fit Limited trims with the chrome bumper.
Not with the Premium Roof Rack. Both the 2010-2024 and 2025+ racks are 100% bolt-on with no cutting or drilling, and the front light bar kit mounts to the rack. The 52-inch curved roof kit, by contrast, requires drilling into the roof.
The 2025+ fog light kit uses the factory mounting points with no cutting or drilling. The 2014-2024 fog pod kit may need minimal trimming of plastic, and trucks without factory fog lights also need a dual leg wiring harness and a switch.
Check the fitment notes for your kit. The 2014-2024 hidden grille kit is listed as working with the TSS sensor (one bar only), and both Stealth Front Bumpers are listed as compatible with Toyota Safety Sense.
It depends on your state. Rules on auxiliary lights, mounting height and use on public roads vary, and many off-road lights are intended for off-highway use only. Check your state's vehicle code before using any auxiliary light on the street.
