Crafted from American 3/16 Steel. The front skid plate is 100% bolt-on and is installed with zero modification to your truck. Using a combination of factory hardware and grade 8 hardware for high-quality fit.

I bought the full skid plate package in steel with powder coat finish. It is mounted on a 2020 4Runner TRD offroad.
Mounting was relatively easy. It would have been easier on a lift or with higher floor stands.
I drive offroad in the Mojave Desert in Southern Nevada. These plates have saved my bacon several times since installing. Despite that, the finish is still in good shape.
I took a club ride in Utah last week and noticed that people were disappearing quickly after crossing a rise. When it was my turn, I found out why. The drop that we made was directly onto large rocks. I didn't catch it right and landed on the transfer case plate. It bent the plate enough to rub the exhaust crossover and cause a lot of noise while driving. I pulled the plate and bent it back upon returning home.
The plate not only held the truck's weight, it held it while dropping. Without the plates, I would have been paying for an expensive recovery and a new TC. These things are stout!
These were my second purchase from Cali Raised. Because of my experience with them and quality of their products, it won't be my last.

I purchased the complete skid

I purchased the complete skid plate package for my 4Runner. Good quality and pretty easy installation. The hardware was missing for the transmission skid plate, but a quick call to Cali Raised and the sent the hardware overnight. That’s great customer service.

Stout equipment

I am thoroughly impressed with how stout the skid plates are. I hate how heavy they are but would rather them fully protect my under carriage than sacrifice durability for speed. I took the 4R out on some trails just a week after install and had one instance where the front skid plate protected the engine and radiator from being completely smashed. I have a noticeable dent on the skid now but I am confident that they will still provide excellent protection from any future damages
