The western end of the peninsula features camping, a drivable beach and what is said to be the best fishing in the Lone Star State. Heading west you can roam the narrowest part of the Bolivar area at Rollover Pass which clocks in at 200 feet wide. Rollover Pass earned its name from the days of prohibition when liquor smugglers would avoid the Galveston customs station by rolling barrels of booze over the narrowest part of the peninsula. I couldn’t correct it, my rig hit the wall head on at highway speed slid down the highway for about 50 feet then it turned into a roll. The truck went over and over 4x. Proceeded to slide another 150 or so feet. The light bar I had is completely toast, but the Side Projecting LED Pods I bought from you guys, survived with MINIMAL damage!
