Modular Bed Rack

Very modular!! Love the fact that I can change the height of the rack.

Tacoma Bed Rack

Nice bit of construction here. The key to assembly is not tightening all the fasteners until complete. I used a small piece of tape to hold the sliding nuts in place. I really wish the kit included several more sliders for mounting accessories on the top rack. Also, the rack could be 3-4 inches taller to accommodate a 270 awning. I had to fabricate my own pieces to attach the 270. Overall, I’m very pleased with the purchase and functionality of this unit.

Straight forward install...the mid height fits my ikamper skycamp mini 3.0 perfectly lines right up with the top of my cab. I appreciate how solid the rack is and the molle panels work great with my rotopax and traction boards.

Works great! And some tips for the next person..

This rack did not let me down. At 58 pounds I was able to assemble it and install it on my own. The trickiest part was getting it into the bed of my truck. The T-track fasteners make it super easy to position it without any guesswork.

Since I did assemble it on my own, I would suggest to someone else who is doing it alone (or anyone without a table to set it on) to assemble it directly on the truck bed so that you have the assistance of the t-track to hold all your pieces upright. One more thing I did that wasn't described in the video was only hand tighten most of the bolts until I had it up in the bed. Once I had it all squared up (mostly from wiggling it and doing some measurements to verify squareness) I went through and tightened everything.

Sturdy mid-price rack

Bought this rack because I wanted something beefier than the cheap racks on Amazon, and cheaper than some of the higher-end racks out there. I also have plenty of hardware laying around that will work with the aluminum profile crosspieces. Just got back from two weeks in Utah and it held up great. I mounted my homemade fly rod carriers and my recovery boards on the top and added some handles. Everything stayed tight and I have no doubt it will hold a RTT when I get around to it. Looks sharp too. And I like that I can buy shorter upright arms if I decide to go lower when I put in the RTT. A good investment for a camping/overlanding rig with lots of potential for customization. Also can’t go wrong with a product engineered and manufactured in the USA.

CR bed rack for 2nd gen tacoma

Overall I'm very pleased with the bed rack, very sturdy and durable. My only issue was the lack of instructions. I received all parts and bolts however trying to put this thing together with no instructions was terrible. I ended up watching multiple videos, that weren't published by caliraised.

Rack arrived quickly and in great condition. Overall everything was fast and simple. The one downside is all hardware was just dumped into a bag with no separation so be ready to sort and organize the hardware before starting the installation

solid, affordable and very modular

Great bars! I like that there are plenty of options, starting with the height you want when you purchase. I opted for the mid-height to keep my RTT flush, or as close to, with the roofline.

Laying all the parts out and assembling was a breeze. I didn't even need an extra set of hands. It was intuitive enough to do solo and the setup is not too heavy to tackle alone. Sure, it might make it a little easier if you had a friend, but not a hard requirement.

I'm looking forward to see how these work over time and test their durability.

Bed Rack

The bed rack goes together great on a 2006 Toyota Tacoma. The rooftop tent also fits great on top of it. Customer service was second to none and shipped the rack early so we could still go on our road trip!
