Tailgate theft protector

Simple yet effective. Easy and a quick installation. At a great price, you can't pass up for what it does wich is to protect your investment. A no brainer.

A good deterrent.

This was a cake walk to install. I just used a 1/4" Impact and 10mm socket to remove the stock bolts. Aligned the bracket to the tailgate pin and tightened the security bolts with the security bit that came with the bracket
. Took all of 10 minutes. The bracket is strong. Not a piece of flimsy steel.
Just remember to put the security bit in the truck for future work.

Got the item and it looks to be very well made. I painted mine with some black caliper paint and baked it on. Installation is very straightforward and I like the fact that security screws were provided. As mine is black now, you don't really even see that it's there but if someone tries to steal my tailgate, they'll figure that out pretty quick.
