Overland Bed Rack Rear Hatch With Gas Struts for 2005+ Toyota Tacoma

The Cali Raised LED Overland Bed Rack Rear Hatch is a lockable, gas-strut-assisted rear door that bolts onto the tall height Cali Raised Overland Bed Rack on 2005-2023 and 2024+ Toyota Tacoma trucks. Its 1/4-inch aluminum door is MOLLE-cut for mounting gear, two gas struts hold it open, and two keyed push-button latches lock it closed. It fits short bed and long bed racks and bolts on in about 1 hour with no drilling.

Close Off the Back of Your Bed Rack

The rear hatch closes off the open back of your tall overland bed rack and swings up on two gas struts, so you can reach your gear without unloading the bed. Two locking push-button cam latches with keys keep it shut on the trail and at the trailhead.

Build a Full Bed Enclosure

Your tall Overland Bed Rack already comes with MOLLE side and top panels. Add the Overland Bed Rack MOLLE Headache Rack up front and this Rear Hatch in back, and your bed is fully enclosed. It works a lot like a cap, but every wall is a MOLLE panel you can bolt gear to. Each piece is sold separately, so you can add one or both.

MOLLE-Cut Aluminum and Steel

The door is cut from 1/4-inch aluminum and the side mounts are 10-gauge steel, finished in black powder coat to match your Cali Raised bed rack. The MOLLE pattern adds even more room for recovery gear, fuel and water containers, lights and storage. The kit includes a handle, a 53-inch T-slot rail and all mounting hardware.

In this video, we walk through the installation of the Cali Raised LED Overland Bed Rack Rear Hatch on the tall height Cali Raised Overland Bed Rack for 2005-2023 and 2024+ Toyota Tacoma. The hatch closes off the open back of your bed rack and swings up on two gas struts, so you can reach your gear without unloading the bed.
