Heavy, Beefy, Good looking

Just like the headline. These things are beefy and they have some heft to them. This just exudes protection for the truck.
The packaging is a sight to behold. Every contact point was buffered by Styrofoam sheet. The sliders were ziplocked and shrink wrapped to a singular pallet. On top of this, it was covered by top sheet of cardboard and then to top if off the ENTIRE thing was again shrink wrapped for that extra protection!
The install. It was better to have a friend! Sure it could be installed by one person, but you will need much more time. Installation bolts are included in abundance. I did have some leftovers and that is perfect!
Directions were clear, but could've been more direct. Did not get lost though. I like the online directions because of the clarity and availability.

I went with the flat kickout so I could use it as a step to get the top of the truck easier (and so my shorter family members can get in the truck easier).

Would I buy these again? Yes. Refer a friend? Yes!

Great Rock Sliders

These are great. Very well made and seemingly durable. I purchased the powder coated step edition with kickout and no filler plate. Everything looks perfect. The installation video makes the install look easier than it is but it's not exceedingly difficult. It would be nice to have a pdf version of the installation instructions.

Get the powder coat

It's a good product, but the bedliner option adds too much material. And creates more work driving the bolts through. Get either the powder coat, or unfinished and paint it yourself. Various youtubers say that it took them about an hour to install. I don't doubt that's true, but they took me about 5 hours as a solo novice.

They only cost me about half a mile a gallon; I was especting less fuel efficiency.

They look Great!!

2023 Tacoma TRD Sport
For my truck the factory cross member bolt used to hold up the slider where not long enough. I don't think that having the Bedliner coating would make that much of a difference. Had to remove washer that was on factory bolt.
Passenger side uneven, no adjustment available. With an 1/8 of inch for the Pinch weld up front and 1 1/2 inch in the rear. Driver side even at 1 inch front and rear.
Had to bend(bow) the filler step plate flat, because it was bowed. (I assume from the bedliner)
I would have much rather preferred the drop in plate and handle plate inserts have welded nuts on them, instead of the square nuts with retainer clip.
Need updated installation instruction, video somewhat confusing when doing rear bolts.
Need detailed written instruction with detailed pictures. If not on paper then make it PDF.
Other than all that, they are awesome. Exactly what i was looking for.

Look Awesome

I got the bed liner filler with Kickout and powder coated sliders, I think the perfect combo. They are a great fit and look awesome. Very heavy duty and the step is a bonus.

Solid filler plate needed for dog owners.

I've had the Cali Raised rock sliders on my truck for over two years and they've save me more than once. HOWEVER, DOG OWNERS BEWARE. The holes in the filler plates are large enough for a small/ medium sized dogs paw to pass through. My 50 lb dog's paw went into one of the holes as she jumped out of the truck and she nearly broke her leg as we struggled to get her out. Cali Raised: Please sell a solid (no holes) filler plate option.

Very Sturdy

I just got them installed, they are very sturdy and heavy duty. I have not really put them to the test yet but they should hold their own. Oh yeah, they look awesome.

I got these sliders with the black powder coat, kick out and bed liner treads. These things look awesome and the build quality is impressive. Installed by myself with the YouTube video.

Five Star Rating With a Few Caveats

I have a new 2023 Tacoma TRD Pro. I installed the Cali Raised bedliner coated rock sliders over the past couple days and have some comments. First, the quality is outstanding and the installation video very helpful - hence my five star rating. But I had a few issues I wanted to make you aware of. First, the bedliner coating in the bolt holes made it impossible to insert the bolts. I had to use a rotary tool to ream them so the bolts would go through - better to do this on the ground rather than while they’re on the truck. Second, the hardware packet was missing both 3” bolts, requiring a trip to the hardware store. Third, the middle bolt through the frame on the driver’s side needs to be inserted with the nut on the outside of the frame to clear the brake lines. Fourth, I had to grind down one side of the backing plate 3/8” so the flange on the driver’s side black box cover would lie flat against the frame or I couldn’t attach the nut on the outside. Fifth, I was missing 5 black washers for the screws that hold the step cover to the rock slider, requiring a second trip to the hardware store. Last, I was easily able to reinstall the frame covers by cutting a small slot in the plastic so the handle for the backing nuts could stick through, something it might be worth telling customers. Otherwise, I’m very pleased with the product and the performance is awesome.

Awesome product

Sliders look great and came packaged extremely well. If you have a dclb the installation video by Caliraised is absolutely not accurate and generated quite a bit of confusion initially. Other than that the product itself is great and after getting the first side on and realizing how they were supposed to go, the second side was a breeze!

Perfect rock sliders for my 2022 Tacoma

This thing is amazing! Wanted to have rock slides with a stepping plate on it and these are awesome. Ended up getting the coated frame and liner plate. Super happy with my choice! Definitely feels like this will be on the taco for a lifetime!

I absolutely love my new rock sliders. I haven’t had the chance to get them on dirt yet, but I jacked up one side of my Tacoma using the slider as the lift point. No problem! These rock sliders are rock solid. But no more solid than the people who made them. I ordered my sliders for pickup rather than delivery. But they were not available for pickup until about 4 days AFTER I left for 8 weeks in Mexico. But thanks to Jake at Cali Raised this was not an issue. They stored them in a secluded corner until I returned to the U.S. That goes way beyond mere customer service. Jake went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate me, which he certainly did not have to do. These folks are great. This company is great. If you want to do business with a company committed to you, the customer, look no further. Great "stuff" at a fair price, offered by pleasant, responsible people. It doesn’t get any better than that. Best company ever. Service was prompt. Questions were answered promptly by courteous and knowledgeable people. In addition to LUXX Alpha-Black tail lights,, I also purchased a pair of rock sliders. Due to bad timing on my part, the sliders were not available for pickup before I left for 8 weeks in Mexico. Thanks to a couple of emails between myself and Jake, Cali Raised held them for me until I returned to the U.S. No charge. This was going way beyond any customer service obligation. This was good people working for a good company that will do whatever is necessary to help out their customers. These folks are the real deal, and I will definitely be doing more business with them. I have made several purchases

I have made several purchases from Cali Raised and have never had any issues. I made a purchase for some sliders when they went on sale and they held them for me while I was on deployment. Then right before I came home from deployment I purchased bed front mount molle panel and it was held for me to pick up with my sliders.

First mod on my new Tacoma

These were the first thing I ordered when I got my new truck. They have been tested and passed with flying colors. Install was easy. Did it by myself with just a floor Jack in an afternoon. They fit perfect and look amazing. They have also protected my truck from many boulders.

Saved my truck from being totaled

I purchased rock sliders for my 2022 DCLB TRD Off Road in the summer of 2022. In December of 2022, I was in the snow coming home from a ski trip. While I was stopped at a red light, a middle aged driver driving 55mph on snow drove into the snow bank and bounced into the edge of my rear bumper, crunched in my passengers side quarter panel, scuffed my rim, and bounced off the kick out on the rock sliders. The rock slider cut through her bumper and pushed her away saving both my passenger side doors from severe damage. Her mirror scratched both doors and then broke my mirror off. The body shop quote was close to $11,000 to restore my new truck with 7,500 mi on it to new. If it was not for my rock sliders, the damage to both passengers side doors might have pushed the damage toll above $20,000 (dangerously close to totaling my new truck). Damage to the rock sliders? A VERY slight dent on the kick out and a scuff across the whole slider. No damage to the powder coating. For this reason alone, I whole heartedly recommend the step addition rock sliders. They make your truck look better, they serve you well on the trails, and they protect you from bad drivers (to a certain extent).

If I could give the CaliRaised LED rock sliders a 10-star rating, I would! I love the look and more importantly the functionality. Having to constantly access my roof rack and bed storage for various purposes, the filler plate on the rock sliders comes in very handy to use as a step (not to mention the non-slip bed liner finish option I have, definitely a huge plus!). Bolt on rock sliders

Came in quicker than expexted;well packaged. Paid a former Toyota mechanic to put on with my assistance. They look great. Only issue is the passenger side sliders did not line up with all the holes. We tried for over 1.5 hours to try but were not fitting. This spring my mechanic friend is going to grind out some of the metal so we can install all the bolts.

Great product, overall easy install with one minor issue.

Sliders were well packaged and were delivered on time, the install went smoothly up until the part where you had to put the handles in the frame that held the nuts in place for the front, they were about a 1/4” off from the front hole. Their support team assured me that even though I couldn’t get the bolt in, that it was structurally sound, and I couldn’t agree more, these things have taken a beating and still hanging on strong. An added perk to having the step version is that it saves my seats since I have a 6” lift, by stepping onto the slider, then out or vice versa! I’d recommend these to anyone who has a moderate lift and people or pets getting in and out of the taco!

Very satisfied

The sliders were delivered in good condition and sooner than I expected. The install videos were a great help. I had some problems with aliening the nuts and bolts as you can see on the videos but that was overcome. I think the sliders are strong and well made. These sliders should protect my Tacoma from the mistakes I expect to make off road. The company went the extra mile in supplying the best hardware. Three special nuts were missing and a call to customer service had them sent to me in three days. I consider that great customer service. I had some small problems installing the sliders but I expected that in any aftermarket product. If I had to shop for sliders again I would still buy from Caliraisedled.com.
