- The Cali Raised LED Team
CUSTOMER HIGHLIGHT: HOLDEN W.
Vehicle: 2019 Toyota Tundra Crewmax in Attitude Black Metallic
Instagram Handle: @holden.wheeler
Favorite Cali Raised LED Product: I've had the Overland Bed Rack for about six months, and it is by far my favorite addition to the truck as well as being the most useful Cali Raised LED product! It is so modular and customizable I find myself rearranging and putting something new on constantly. My rooftop tent, shade awning, and a couple LED pods live on the rack for now, but chances are I'll shuffle things around as soon as I start mounting things to the MOLLE Panels I have in the truck bed.
Favorite Trip: My favorite trip so far has been in Colorado in June of last year. I and a few other Toyota Tundra enthusiasts planned a long weekend of trail rides and outdoor adventures in the Denver area. The truck was pretty much bone stock at the time, and it handled the trails (which climb up to 9,800 feet!) like a champ. I look forward to getting back on the trail now that the truck is lifted and has quite a bit more armor installed thanks to Cali Raised LED.
Bucket List Trip: I've always wanted to run Moab, as well as tag along on the annual Tundras To Sedona trip. I'm looking to mark both of those off the list in the next year or two.
Do you have any upcoming trips? Now that I have the sliders, I will be running through the trails at my local OHV park in Bridgeport, TX. The last time I went I had to turn around in a few spots since I didn't have any real body protection. That won't be the case on this next trip!
What Cali Raised LED products do you have on your vehicle? I first purchased the Low Profile Ditch Brackets, and coordinating OEM style push button dash switches for the ditch lights and light bar. These were purchased as soon as I got the truck in early 2019. Then I bought the Overland Bed Rack and recently I got my hands on the Bed MOLLE Panels, Rock Sliders (Trail version), Bed Channel Supports, and Premium Roof Rack .
FEATURED PRODUCT: TACOMA LOW PROFILE DITCH LIGHTS
Our mounts are designed to be low profile keeping your LED light pod close and tight to your truck away from damage while also allowing for an uninhibited view of the road and trail. Combine all these great features with our warranty on all vehicle mounting systems so you can drive into the darkness and ignite the night.
FEATURED TRAIL: SWITZERLAND TRAIL
Location: 50 miles outside Denver, CO
Terrain: Forest, Rock, Snow
Difficulty: Easy
Switzerland Trail began as a railroad bed that is now used by beginner off-road enthusiasts to get comfortable navigating on off-road terrain. The trail offers sweeping views of Arapahoe and Roosevelt National Forests and the Rocky Mountains. It is a locals favorite due to its proximity to Boulder, CO and the rest of the Front Range so you can catch a beer at a local brewery along the way.
To help navigate your way around Switzerland Trail check out Gaia GPS, the best outdoor GPS app for off-roading, overlanding and camping. The app has a free and paid version, both offering maps from around the world to help plan your next trip.
