Great Bumper

Great bumper, super straightforward install, took about 3 hours. Highly recommend getting the light bar it is super bright. Only thing is, it was kind of pain to wire the switch. For anyone wondering the "small switch" fits into one of the blanks and to wire it you connect white to green, both reds to blue, and black to black. Some kind of instructions for that would have been nice but there are some YouTube videos that helped me figure it out.

Awesome bumper!

Bumper is incredibly well-built. Apex Badlands winch fit perfectly. Mounting was easy, but I found the Cali-raised instructional video less detailed than other videos for similar bumpers. I installed the steel bumper first, then the plastic bumper cover which seemed much easier than the way the Cali-raised video showed. My only complaint is a would have liked the mounting holes for the bumper to be smaller. The holes are almost bigger than the factory bolt heads that attach this bumper to the frame. I ended up adding a large washer to a few for a little more peace of mind.

Stealthy, Stout, and Stylish!!! I

Stealthy, Stout, and Stylish!!! I bought this bumper in late November 2024. It arrived in 2-3 weeks with free shipping. Five months later, May 2025 I finally got around to installing it. Very pleased with the service and how it came packaged. It's very well constructed. I chose this bumper over other options such as CBI, C4, and RCI for the following reasons. While I have RCI sliders, I didn't like the look of it as much. Seemed to harsh on the corners. The C4 is the same cost and no powder coat, and a very long wait. The CaliRaised Stealth is very close in appearance as the CBI but the latter had a long lead time. I liked the the Stealth and light bar could be made as a kit. I liked the idea of the magnetic license plate frame too. I chose the dual row light bar and Warn EVOS10 winch. I clocked the clutch housing to make it easier to operate. The access port is a bit smallish. I put some edge trim in the port to save my skin.

Overall the installation was easy for a DIYer. It took me 8 hours from point of clearing the garage space to walking in the house with it installed, sans light bar wiring, which I did the next day. The CaliRaised install video was very helpful. I also installed alone and it is heavy and takes some ingenuity. I cut the bumper per the video. Perfect!! I installed edge trip on the cut because I wasn't sure how well it would be hidden by the bumper. It's well hidden but still glad I added it.

I also found that the transmission line was much more easily moved away from the winch solenoid than expected. I was very stressed about needing to to that. A little push and it bent the brackets back a bit. The other stressor was the TSS sensor on the grill. It definitely has some pressure on the wiring but not bad. I'd suggest removing the solenoid housing and using a heat gun in the top front middle - just enough heat to push in down a 1/2" or so. Basically a thumb print size depression is all that's needed. I was going to do that before the install but wasn't sure about clearance under the housing, but I'm sure it would be fine.

Unlike the video description, I left the air dams in place. Other install videos for other bumpers show how to cut them, which I think is better/smarter. They are there for a reason - force air into the radiator. So i just trimmed mine. I thought this bumper came with little winglets at the bottom to brace the bottom front corner of the fender but it doesn't. Must be a different bumper that I saw that. Might be a nice touch to add. And while the bumper is advertised as accepting a TRD skid plate, it's actually quite snug. I read on another blog that someone had to trim the front 1"-2' off their skid plate to get it to fit. And this is true. . The plate contacts the bumper before the plate is up against the mount point so the bolts don't have much thread contact. I will need to trim my skid plate.

At the end of the day I'm very pleased with the quality and look of the bumper and light bar. I was a little uncertain if I'd like the dual light bar - in part it's a big slot. But it looks good. I think an issue for all these bumpers is the access port to operate the winch clutch. It is small and could stand to be bigger.

I have to say I'm also really pleased with Cali-Raised customer support. When I call - they answer. This was not the case with CBI. In fact, it may have cost CBI a sale because they only have a chat and email feature.

I would 100% recommend Cali-Raised.

Good for what you get, it was super easy to set up, getting it in my rig was also somewhat easy, but I’d recommend a few people, as not to drop it. I bought it looking for a low profile bumper that would allow me to mount a winch, but the room for a light bar is also a massive plus!

This started because I needed a winch, researching I found other bumpers did not powder coat theirs. I had become aware that Cali came powder coated. The design and fitment is spot on. I got the winch and light bar as well. Shipped fast and customer service is awesome! The only thing holding me back from more stuff from Cali Raised is money LOL. The bumper is strong and well made ! Love It !!!

Solid Bumper/Easy Install

Cali Raised is an awesome company with the best customer service and staff. The bumper is solid, well made and was easy to install. One issue with the bull bar on my bumper is it does not have enough offset/angle. The bull bar touches my factory grill on the horizontal bar. Still looks great and not wanting to take it off I'm good with it, but would have prefered to have a little space between the bull bar and grill. I also bought the Warn winch, light bar and fog lights and very pleased with them. Cali Raised is still my go to shop for my 4Runner.

CR BUMPER

I did not want a lo pro bumper with a bull bar. CaliRaised had the bumper I was looking for. Very stealth and low profile. I had it installed by 88Rotors with a winch and light bar. It looks amazing and did not add that much additional weight to my 4Runner. I don't even notice it's there while driving. This CR bumper is very strong and solid and provides excellent recovery points to my rig. Thank you CaliRaised!

Great Experience

The CR Team was great in helping me get my bumper/light combo and making sure all of my questions were answered. I was able to install it myself and it went fairly according to plan, got a little cut happy lol, but the install videos are pretty straightforward. Love how this turned out and looking forward to hitting some trails but really hoping I don't have to use it.

The stealth bumper is the best fit for the 5th gen by a mile than the other guys. Measure twice cut once and this thing is so nice paired with the light bar which is the brightest one Ive ever owned. Kudos Cali raised what’s next? Overall took me by myself 2 1/2 hours to install

The stealth bumper is attractive, sturdy and relatively easy to install with some plastic trimming. One of the few bumpers that allows the TCSS system to work while having a bull bar. Economical and recieved the bumper quickly and efficiently. A great choice!

I really like this bumper

I really like this bumper I added a winch set up and it was all really nice. Now I did have an issue trying to get it up on my 4Runner even with two people it was kind of a pain and safety thing. Another issue I had was the video on how to install it I ended up not doing any of that. I ended up bolting the bumper on first then the winch and then the plastic of the 4Runner it just seemed easier and safer picking it up with the winch but overall it looks great I love the new capabilities I now have would 10/10 would buy again just wish the video instructions made more sense

Bumper is solid af. Install

Bumper is solid af. Install wasn't bad at all. We installed the bumper, winch, and light bar. Just had to rewire the the harness for the oem button. Install isn't bad if you have a buddy or two to help. Cutting the bumper wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. Also, the bumper hides the cuts so you don't have to worry THAT much. No second thoughts. Looks badass.
