AJT Design works on a narrow slice of the truck: the parts your hands land on. The Injection Fob is the best known. It is a two-piece case injection moulded from high-impact PC-ABS that replaces the factory key fob shell outright, rather than a cover that slips over it. Your existing electronics, battery, valet key and seal transfer into the new case, which bolts together with socket head cap screws using the 3/32 inch allen key supplied. Around it sits a family of interior trim: cup holder rings, vent rings, climate and radio knobs, shift knob trim rings and shifter trim ring sets.
Because everything is cut for one platform, fitment is decided by the year range in the product title rather than the model name alone. Several Injection Fobs deliberately span two vehicles that share a factory fob, and others are specific to a single truck. Coverage here reaches the Tacoma back to 2005, the 4Runner back to the 4th generation, the Tundra from 2014, the RAV4 from 2019 and the 2003-2009 Lexus GX 470. AJT designs and manufactures in the USA.
The reason to do the trim pieces as a set rather than one at a time is that they share a finish. A single swapped knob next to factory silver plastic reads as a mismatch, while the cup holder, vents, climate and radio knobs and shifter ring done together read as a deliberate interior.
