Q: Does one part fit both the Silverado and the Sierra?
A: Yes. The Silverado and Sierra share the same tailgate for these model years, so a single protector covers both trucks.
Q: I have the MultiPro or MultiFlex multi-function tailgate. Will this fit?
A: Yes. Our fitment covers the AT4 and Denali trims that carry the multi-function tailgate as standard, along with the rest of the Silverado and Sierra lineup. If your truck also has a power or motorized tailgate, contact us before ordering, since that has not been tested.
Q: I have a 2019 Silverado 1500 LD or a 2019 Sierra 1500 Limited. Will this fit?
A: Contact us before ordering. In 2019 GM sold the previous body style alongside the new truck under the LD and Limited names, and those use the earlier tailgate. The same applies to 2019 HD models, which moved to the current body for 2020.

A: Two tamper-resistant security bolts and the bit needed to install them.
Q: What is it made from?
A: Laser-cut 304 stainless steel, made in the USA by Cali Raised LED and backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
Q: Is it painted or coated?
A: No, and that is deliberate. It is left as raw 304 stainless steel. Stainless resists rust on its own, so a coating would only add a finish that can chip, scratch, or peel over time.
Q: How does it stop tailgate theft?
A: Thieves drop the tailgate and lift it off the hinge, which takes seconds and requires no tools. This protector blocks that lift-off point so the method no longer works.
Q: How long does installation take?
A: About 5 to 10 minutes with basic hand tools. No drilling or permanent modification.
Q: Will it work with a motorized or power tailgate?
A: This has not been tested on motorized tailgates. If your truck is equipped with one, contact us before ordering.
