Sliders are GREAT !!!!

These sliders arrived very well packaged. They were definitely locked down to the pallet. The finish is excellent. I got mine with the slider powder coated and the top plate in bed liner. The install is pretty straight forward. Other than 2 odd screws that were in the package. They were in the install video as well but never seen him install them so oh well. The worst part about the install was the top plates kinda had to bend them a little to flatten them out. Than the 9 million screw they took to install. I'm fat staying bent over like that is hard to breath or hold your breath through that many screws and nuts. But otherwise I would definitely recommend these to anybody that needs them or just wants the best.

Happy but only after some major install issues.

The wait time was more than I anticipated even after seeing the notification of long lead times. I have to give them props for giving some compensation for the excessive wait time.
Having slightly larger holes would help with fitment. Had a hard time getting the front drivers side away from the pinch weld. Eventually had to use washers to add space away from the truck.
Need to update pictures and instalation video for the new sliders they are now making.

Easy install & good looks

Install was easy and straightforward (just make sure to bolt the front first). The powder coat & bed liner step look sharp, and complements the fenders, OEM roof rack, and sports bar.

I was able to mount solo using some jack stands to help hold up and position; it would have cut install time down if I had a friend come over to help.

Had some difficulties installing due

Had some difficulties installing due to changes in hardware so it didn’t match the online videos or include any type of instructions. I had to remove the drivers side and install my own provided washers to keep the rails from hitting the front pinch weld. Also the top plate makes a clank sound every time I step on them as the top plate taps the top of the slider. Overall build and finish seems very nice. They are very heavy. Just could use a little tweaking with instructions and fitment.

These things are tough and

These things are tough and make the truck. Definitely need help to get them installed. But once you have a couple bolts treaded you’re good to go. Everything thing lined up perfect and the online videos helped out a ton. Steps were delivered very quick and they were packaged perfectly. No damage and all the parts were there.

Cali Raised Rock Sliders - 2026 Tacoma TRD Pro

Solid sliders. They look good and add to the appearance of the truck. Bolt holes lined up perfectly with the frame threads. The sliders do not interfere with the 2 ground wires at all.

I'm 72 years old with multiple old athletic injuries and not flexible. Work was done alone in my driveway in 90+ heat and high humidity. If I can do it, you can do it. I would recommend using a partner if available. Getting the first bolt in can be a bit tedious. I would recommend using a thread chaser (M10 x 1.25 pitch), especially if the threads are dirty. I just used an extra bolt to make sure the threads in the frame were OK.

Sliders were ordered on Jun 17, 2026 and delivered on a pallet to Georgia on July 7, 2026. (21 days). The packaging was outstanding.

Great steps/sliders

I needed some steps because it was tough for me getting in my truck without having to pull myself up and across the seat. Shipping was pretty quick and packaging was done nicely. Installed the steps today and a few of the holes didn’t line up quite right on the driver side parts. I just left two screws out of the top plate because I didn’t feel like drilling two holes for those. One of the mounting holes to the frame didnt line up as well. I used one of the factory bolts and was able to get it bolted up securely.

Perfect fit and high quality

These were super easy to install by myself and all the holes lined up perfectly for the hardware. I’m really impressed by the quality of these sliders and they should hold up to some abuse on the trails. My wife loves them—she has a nice step now and doesn’t have to climb into my truck! I got the optional top plates with the bed liner coating. My only small gripe is that the front of the top plates flare up a bit and don’t sit flush. They probably should have put an extra fastener there to pull it down. Other than that, they’re perfect.

Solid slides ,easy installation did it by myself with a floor jack and stands, if you get the plate on top he aware it will create some wind noise I took mine off and I think it looks better without.

driver's side slider was warped and mounting holes didn't totally line up

I have to be honest and give these a 4/5. they seem extremely sturdy and solid and well built, however mine came with what apparently was a known manufacturing issue with the mounting holes. the hole on one of the drivers side slider did not line up with the holes on the frame, and the slider couldn't be installed as is. i had to drill out the metal at one of the mounting holes in order to put the bolt in. i emailed cali raised about this and they mentioned "the welding table was getting warped from the heat and causing the frame plate to shift." .. i was told this has since been corrected, but it was frustrating to email the company and to basically be told it was a known issue. i think it would've been better to email customers that may be affected with a warning about this, so i didn't have to go through hours of wasted troubleshooting trying to get the issue sorted out.

I will also mention that the filler plate is a bit warped towards the very front and folders up, just like you see in the picture on the site, which can likely be addressed by bending it prior to installation. i didn't realize this prior to install and will now have to take these off and hand bend the filler plates to address that if i decide i actually care enough. not a big deal, but probably helpful for others to know prior to install.

The GOOD news: These sliders are great.

The BAD news: These sliders ship with zero installation instructions, just a link to a video that is out-of-date to how they are manufactured now.

More GOOD news: The sliders are simpler to install than the video shows.

Mine shipped with 11 hex-head machine screws per side. (no spares, so be gentle with the threads). They line up with 11 threaded holes in your Tacoma's frame.

I suggest making sure each one of these holes is in good shape before you're trying to muscle a 70lb chunk of metal up to them. I ran one of the screws into each hole (with some goop on it) to clear out any road grime and undercoating spray. If they don't go easily, I'd run a tap through them first. (M10 x 1. 25).

The tolerances on this engineering marvel are pretty tight. If something is 0. 25" off, you would need to enlarge a hole. You will NOT be able to stretch steel. But mine went together fine. Just go slow and careful.

They look great. I'm happy with the purchase. A little over 7 weeks to get them. No valid installation instructions, but easier than I was predicting.

Paint it quickly if ordering in a raw finish

Easy to install with a helping hand, maybe CaliRaised can mimic Toyotas little bolt hook/slot feature seen on the Trailhunter skid plates and predator steps to make it even easier to install and uninstall for service, cause with bashed up sliders, I'd pull them off to rattle can a fresh coat to keep em from rusting, that being said. If you order RAW, be prepared to paint your sliders immediately before they flash rust on you. You do not want to go rust busting as a punishment for not priming it.

Excllent Experience and Quality rails

From ordering to delivery the team at Caliraised always answered my questions. I order the rock sliders step edition for my 24 Tacoma. It took a little longer than planned, however that was due to them updating the rails and how they mount. They were shipped and when arrived were packaged and wrapped to protect everything. Upon opening the welds , fit and finish was spot on. With the new design mounting to the tacoma was simple and staright forward. Great product from a great company!!!

Really love the powder coated

Really love the powder coated with the fill plates and kick out. I had them shipped to a shop to have them installed and they claimed they had to drill and slightly widen the holes to attach the fill plates to the slider unfortunately. The passenger side plate has the slightest curve up at the very front of it. Wish it didn't, but its still perfectly fine. If not for that, this is a 5 star slider imo. (Haven't bashed on them yet)
