There was a weird glitch in the sales system that meant I didn't get this key for a couple weeks. That's no reflection of the product, itself, but is worth noting. If you have ordered this and it seems stuck in "processing", shoot them an email.
The key case is really amazing. As an engineer, and one that has worked with small injection molded parts, I can say that this is VERY well-built with amazing tooling with tight tolerances. For the GX470, it is the easiest swap-- no shimming required. The buttons need to be installed in the case before popping the fob in, but they are all keyed, so it isn't easy to get it wrong. The screws thread in nicely and don't feel easy to strip. Not that I'd ever use the metal key, itself, but it fits very snugly in the slot provided, again, without need for shims.
One thing that would maybe take a 1/10 star off the rating is the material is very easy to scratch, especially when installing a key ring onto the fat key ring slot. It's always a shame to put marks in a brand new toy, even if that toy is likely going to get scratched the moment it resides in a pocket with other keys. Another 1/10 star off because the website doesn't make it easy to tell which color is which. I had to guess and probably would have been a bit more adventurous had there been a chart showing each color with its corresponding name.
Both my keys finally went down and broke on me. Ordered and had it in about a week. This thing is solid as a rock, zero wiggle. Just waiting on a coupon code or something to make a second purchase for my backup key. 😂
Love the look, feel, and functionality. It matches perfectly with my interior and gives my key fob a rugged vibe.
Getting the metal key dislodged from my Lexus OEM fob was a little tricky, but once it was off it was easy to assemble this new fob setup.
Really pleased and would highly recommend. If you’re on the fence, buy it and you won’t be disappointed.

I’m obsessed - I had gone through several other cheap plastic options that kept breaking. this fob is extremely durable and looks cool (I was skeptical). really so happy with this purchase and grateful to cali raised for making my life easier!
Robust. Very easy to swap from the original OEM key. Couldn’t have made a better choice.
Cool fob. Very sturdy. Buttons are a little harder to press being deeper in the mold, but works well. That is the only con I have with it. . . I would still recommend over original.
If you're on the fence stop searching and just buy this one. Very well made, easy to put together, ships fast and their communication is great. Comes with everything you need. Highly recommend this if yours is broken or you want a nice upgraded fob.

My 2008 Lexus GX470 key fits perfect inside of the fob. It is a great and well made product that I would suggest to anyone thinking about buying it. It seems like it is going to last a long time.

Overall the cover is good to go. The one issue I had with mine is that my factory key needed to be shimmed. I ended up cutting a paper clip and using pieces of that to make it rigid.
