- Ditch light mounts attach to the hood hinges and can be angled in any direction.
- For optimal performance, they are best placed at a 45° angle away from the vehicle to illuminate the sides of the road at night to light the harder-to-see areas.

Many car buyers believe that yellow lights penetrate fog better. But, the reason is something else. You now know that blue light falls right in front of our eyes. When we see any object in blue light, it appears fuzzy or unclear with a blue tone around it. It is a phenomenon called “glare”. According to a study, blue light is often the reason behind driver complaints of discomfort glare. Blue or white light against the snow or fog can be glaring to the eyes and it can make you tired soon. When you are driving through snowy roads, the white lights can tire you as well.

What size LED pods fit these ditch light brackets?
These brackets are compatible with 3x2 and 2x2 LED pods, including the Cali Raised LED 18W, 18W amber and 27W side-projecting pods offered on this kit.
Do I need to drill any holes to install these?
No. These are a complete bolt-on installation using the hood hinges. No drilling required.
Are the LED pods included?
Yes. The kit includes the ditch light brackets, a pair of LED pods of your choice and a wiring harness. An OEM-style ditch light switch is optional.
Will these work on a 2024 Toyota Tacoma 4th Gen?
No. These brackets are designed specifically for the 2016-2023 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma. A separate bracket kit is available for the 4th Gen Tacoma.
Does the A-pillar trim need to be removed?
No. The ditch light brackets attach to the hood hinges. No modification or A-pillar trim removal is required.
Will the brackets get in the way of opening or closing the hood?
No. The brackets attach to the hood hinges and do not affect opening or closing the hood.
Can I add a factory-style dash switch?
Yes. You can add a blue-backlit 'Ditch Lights' switch in Tall or Small to match the opening in your dash, or choose No Switch.
How long does the install take?
It is a bolt-on install. Owners report anywhere from about an hour to 4+ hours, with routing wires through the firewall and fitting the dash switch taking the most time.
