Pretty excited about my new

Pretty excited about my new grill raptor lights. These were to replace a 2nd set that I'd gotten from another 4Runner online retail store. I like that the lights have backs that screw together and not plastic clips that break. The two sets I had before lasted barely a year until one of the lights started going out. I'm hoping these will last longer.

This is my second set. I’m using the lights as replacements for when one burns out. They seemed to only last about two years.

Looks great, but instructions need improving

So far they look great and turn on with lights or auto mode. I chose "smoked" and the color looks good even when off. Easy to install by following the video...EXCEPT as others noted how to actually install the 'add a fuse'. Thanks to another reviewer here I was able to figure out my issue of fuse placement into the add a plug accessory wire. Other tips...

* It should have been noted that there is a small cut out in the fuse box that the wire can slide into vs cutting into the box or creasing the wire when closing.

* It's also important to not push in the top part of the grommets all the way when replacing the engine shield as they will stay loose if you double click the inside portion.

Here comes the night!

Wish the video instructions showed how to attach the "add-a-fuse" and showed the fuse box connection. The video instructions detailed everything else except that. However, I figured it out.

I knocked off 1 star just because the video instructions left off that step.

After I got it installed, night looks freaking awesome!

I had an issue with the install but it totally my fault. First time using the add a fuse and I put it in wrong. Triggered my dummy lights for a couple of days but all good after that.

Great customer service and easy part installation

Great lights, pretty easy plug and play kit. There are a few nuances thought. The add a fuse pigtail will make the cover of the relay fuse box not fit flush but you can solve that by zip ties. The wiring and the lights are high quality. Good solid product. And it looks sickkkkk on my 4runner! Also, the chat help and phone help that Steven provided from Cali Raised was awesome. Very helpful and caring as well as knowledgeable. I recommend hooking up the fuse to the INJ instead of the EFI-2.

Easy install!

Install was a breeze! However, following the installation videos and fuse placement my dash was telling me that the traction control was off and a check engine light wouldn’t go off. After reading a few forums, I placed the add a fuse to the interior fuse box and had no issues.

The purchase, process, and delivery were great. Quality of product seems very good also. The only thing I will say is that the instructions for installation stated to hook up to efi2 fuse. The lights will randomly come on

Perfect!

This is my third set of Raptor lights. First two sets came from a different company, one set had one good light upon opening, other set had two lights fail after a week. The Cali Raised Raptor lights have been fantastic so far. Quality and build are far superior to the other brand I attempted to use. Light output isn’t overpowering, but a good balance between visibility and accent. Very pleased with these, and will be getting another set for my other 4Runner soon.
