Wiring Your Dual Function Light Bar:
Make wiring simple with the Cali Raised LED Dual Function Wire Harness — designed for a 100% plug-and-play installation. When you purchase a Dual Function LED Bar and matching harness from Cali Raised LED, all you need to decide is the switch height. It’s the cleanest and most efficient way to wire your dual-output setup. There are two ways you can wire your dual-function bar depending on how you would like it to operate.
If you prefer to wire the bar manually, here’s how:
OPTION 1: Single Harness — Control All Lights Together
Use this setup if you want both the amber and white LEDs to turn on/off simultaneously.
LED Bar Wire Colors:
- BLACK: Ground
- WHITE: Power for White LEDs
- GREEN: Power for Amber LEDs
STEPS:
- Remove the plug from the harness.
- Connect black wire from the LED bar to the black wire on the harness.
- Combine the white and green wires from the LED bar and connect them to the red wire on the harness.
OPTION 2: Dual Harnesses — Control Amber & White Independently
Use this setup If you want to control the amber and white lights separately, you’ll need TWO HARNESSES — one for each function. This setup allows you to run the amber and white LEDs independently or together, depending on your needs.
The LED Bar will Have 3 Wires On It:
- BLACK: Ground
- WHITE: Power for White LEDs
- GREEN: Power for Amber LEDs
STEPS:
- Remove the DT plugs from the ends of both wire harnesses to expose red and black wires.
- Combine the black wires from both harnesses and connect them to the black wire on the LED bar.
- Connect one red wire to the white wire (white LEDs), and the other red wire to the green wire (amber LEDs) on the LED bar.
This configuration gives you independent control over your amber and white light functions — ideal for adaptive lighting on and off the trail.
