Perfect Fit on a 3rd Gen Tacoma

These things are awesome and fit perfectly on my 3rd Gen Tacoma. I was also able to add a holster to carry my EDC weapon on the panel. I was able to clip a first aid kit as well as a compact flashlight.

A MUST HAVE!!

I don't know why I waited so long to purchase these! The install was very easy after watching the video. On the passenger side I currently have a set of Midland radios, and on the driver side I currently have a First Aid Kit and the MOLLE holster mount (reviewed separately). It's nice to have those at my fingertips and stay organzied!

Looks and works great. . . Install was not easy . . . . . watch the directions, be very careful when you tighten the expansion bolts. .

Doesn't quite fit as advertised.

Quality is good, easy install. The only problem is there’s not enough clearance between the console and the seat to use the 1/2” spacer at the back. I just omitted it and used a shorter screw and it works fine.

Just what I needed for

Just what I needed for the GMRS radio mount. I’ve placed a fire extinguisher and first aid kit on them as well. I went with Cali Raised due to the mounting system and was not disappointed in its performance. Rock solid.

This has been a great addition to my Tacoma and we use it for a number of things such as clips for our water, walkies, etc.

Simple Things Missed

This is a product explicitly designed for a METRIC truck that comes with Imperial measurement hardware. The panels themselves are quite good. I was happy until I went to install them, and found that I needed to buy my own hardware if I wanted to keep everything in my truck metric. I decided to replace the metal spacers with stacked rubber washers since they are held against thin plastic trim along the console. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, but wondering if purchasing a competitors product would have been less work.

These provide a perfect place to mount a radio or any other equipment you need in easy reach.

I like it but…

I wish I had a bigger truck. Once installed ya really gotta consider what you can mount to these panels. You don’t want your leg all tucked in all the time while driving. But the slot on the front for your holstered pistol is perfect. I did have to loosen the holster clip screws so that it could hook into the panel slot but I specifically bought this holster just for the panel so once it was in place it was solid as a rock. It ain’t going nowhere. I’m not 100% what else I’ll be adding to it. I didn’t care for the position it put my fixed blade in so I keep that tucked between the seat and the console. For now I have my old Alexa mobile stuck in it and a flashlight holster is belt clipped and then bungeed to the panel. It’s a little tighter than I want but to keep it from slipping around this is what I have for now. I’m sure there’s a much better molle style flashlight holder out there.
I’ve wanted these panels for a while. And I’m glad I went ahead and got them. They seem real solid but I do wish the console plastic was more rigid. Maybe thicker. I do like the location of my gun here. The flashlight is fine. My knife is happy where it is. I don’t need and CB type communication but I’m sure as time goes on I’ll find some more things to mount. My emergency first aid kit fits perfectly in that goofy cubby in the glovebox and I have a smaller maxpedition pouch mounted to a molle panel under the console armrest. Stuff I seldom ever use like gloves, robe, ratchet straps, etc. are under the back seat panels. So if anyone out there has any other suggestions for immediate needs right there on the console panels, let me know! I think these were a solid purchase and I’m happy with the quality.

great product. Only issue is with the lack of instructions more than anything. Videos are nice but having a needed tools list would be a lot easier than having to stop and start the video over and over again as you get the tools you need.

Or at least put it on the screen so it can be paused.

2012-15 Taco fitment

Wife purchased this for my 2nd Gen Tacoma, I’ve been eyeing it for a while but was excited to install. I have to say the design is more for a 3rd Gen Tacoma, on a 2nd Gen the little mountain part will not align or ever follow the curve of the trim. On the 2nd Gen you would have to modify the trim guide or cut the first one off completely (you’ll realize there’s a guide behind the trim and it gets in the way of install). Overall, eyeballing everything it came out very nicely. Holds my knife, 1st aid kit, pocket screwdriver and my firearm in place and definitely looks good. I would post pics but i don’t have that option here. 5 star for product, for 2nd Gen just needs a little modification compared to 3rd Gens video install but basically the same.

I installed the console panels on both sides of my center console, and added the cross piece as well, on my 2022 Tacoma. I'm really happy with the look of the panels and equally pleased with their functionality. The install with only slightly tedious when inserting the bolts and nuts on the forward most portion of the side panels, but again, only slightly. The cross bar does hide the rear window, ECT, and wireless charger controls, but I don't find it to be that big of a deal. The functionality outweighs any minor inconvenience this causes. Thanks, Cali Raised, for yet another amazing product!
