Overall very usefl but not without issues

Provides many mounting options for my Rotopax & Apache cases. Properly weaving MOLLE pouches to these panels is difficult, as there are many spacing irregularities engineered into these panels to accommodate bolt-on accessories. To weave MOLLE correctly, uniform spacing is imperative, & the MOLLE straps on many pouches often do not line up w/ the panels where you may need to position pouches. Also, frequent bouncy offroad driving w/ gear in these MOLLE pouches will eventually cause the nylon straps to fail since they are woven to metal. If possible, highly recommend foregoing the pouches & just bolting small Pelican or Apache cases to the panels to store gear. Overall very useful but not without issues. A system to ‘hinge’ these panels to facilitate attaching equipment would be nice too. At present all one can do is try to bolt or weave items to the panels in situ, which requires tiny fingers & can be extremely frustrating. Otherwise, one will need to unbolt the panels to affix mounts.

Easy install

I wanted a way to mount my maxtrax under my tonneau cover and this does the job. The video was super helpful and made installation easy. I picked cali raised molle panel because they have different versions for long and short beds. Picture of the long bed version attached (I made the mounting pins myself).

Solid construction. Easy install. Use

Solid construction. Easy install. Use an impact. Assemble the entire thing first. I didn’t have to remove a bed cleat. Just put one side in first, then gently push down. It will go in but might leave a little scar on a plastic bed-liner. No big deal. Takes 30 minutes tops.

Super easy install. Seems to be quite high quality. Installed it about two weeks ago and haven’t yet put it to the test, but it is solid.

Instructions are outdated.

The L brackets in the install didnt match mine for a 2021. Be flexible to move them to match what you see.

Do you have a BakFlip? Well, get prepared to modify the install instructions.

A/ the instructions leave off removing the bed cap. If you have a BakFlip, no need to remove, but you should pull the screws.

Also, remove block tie down hooks and get prepared to drew around the thumb screws holding the cover in place.

If you want to follow the instructions, remove the corner AND the rails.

Nice product! Some suggestions…

I just finished installation of the bulkhead MOLLE panel in my 6ft ‘21 Tacoma TRD O/R. Happily, I didn’t need to remove the bulkhead cap to install the top bolts, even though I had a tonneau frame on it. I only have 3 issues, and they’re not game-Enders, more of a product improvement suggestion: 1, make the feet with a heavy-duty hinge, to make accessory installation easy (it could allow the panel to swing down for easy bolt-on of accessories). 2, please remind purchasers on the tools list they need an M6 head to remove the old bulkhead bolts (luckily, I found an M6 buried in my garage). 3, I would GLADLY order MOLLE flanges to bolt into, rather than have to engineer something.

Overall, a good product!
