Taco Vinyl covers two different jobs with the same material. On the styling side there are hood stamps, door pillar decals, grille and rib decals, fender vent graphics, tailgate wraps, rear fender decals and universal stripe sets, plus grille badges and key fob decals. On the protection side there are door skins for the lower door panel, door sill guards for the painted sill you step over getting in, and PPF roof rack guards that go under a rack foot.
The protective pieces are worth understanding, because the damage they prevent is the kind you do not see happening. Roof rack feet trap grit against the roof and grind through clear coat while the rack itself hides the evidence, and the lower door panel takes a constant blast of road debris. Film in those two spots is inexpensive compared with paint work.
Model-year-specific kits are cut for the panel they are made for, covering the Tacoma from 2005 to current across three generations, the 4Runner in both 2010-2024 and 2025 and newer, the Tundra in 2014-2021 and 2022 and newer, the 2023 and newer Sequoia, the 2019-2025 RAV4 and the 2007-2014 FJ Cruiser. Universal pieces such as the stripe sets, grille badges and key fob decals are sized rather than vehicle-cut.
