Kleinn Automotive

Add remote start to your Toyota or Lexus with kits from Kleinn Automotive. This collection covers vehicle-specific base kits for push-to-start models — the RSTOY6, RSTOY6A and RSTOY13 — plus the upgrades that pair with them: the MOBILE2W smartphone module for app control and GPS tracking, and the RFKIT long-range antenna kits. Kleinn Toyota kits require no separate programmer.

About Kleinn Remote Start Kits

The Kleinn lineup we stock is built around push-to-start Toyota and Lexus vehicles, and it splits cleanly into base kits and upgrades. The base kits are vehicle-specific modules that add remote start on their own. The upgrades extend a starter you already have, so they are not a substitute for a base kit.

Three base kits cover the range. The RSTOY6 fits the 2016-2019 Tacoma and Highlander plus select 2016-2022 Toyota push-to-start models. The RSTOY6A fits the 2013-2018 RAV4 plus select 2012-2019 Toyota push-to-start models. The RSTOY13 covers select 2018-2025 Toyota and Lexus cars and SUVs in both gas and hybrid. All three are listed as requiring no programmer, which is the practical advantage of a vehicle-specific kit over a universal one.

The upgrades solve two different problems. The RFKIT antenna kits extend fob range and come three ways: the RFKIT1 with two 1-button one-way remotes, the RFKIT4 with two 4-button one-way remotes, and the RFKIT2W with two 4-button two-way remotes that confirm back when the vehicle actually starts. The MOBILE2W skips the fob entirely, adding smartphone app control and GPS tracking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Kleinn remote start kit fits my vehicle?
There are three base kits here and they split by year and model. The RSTOY6 covers the 2016-2019 Tacoma and Highlander plus select 2016-2022 Toyota push-to-start models. The RSTOY6A covers the 2013-2018 RAV4 plus select 2012-2019 Toyota push-to-start models. The RSTOY13 covers select 2018-2025 Toyota and Lexus cars and SUVs. All three are for push-to-start vehicles only, so if your vehicle uses a turn key, none of these kits apply.
Do Kleinn remote start kits work on hybrids?
The RSTOY13 is listed for both gas and hybrid Toyota and Lexus models. The RSTOY6 and RSTOY6A do not state hybrid coverage, so check the fitment list on the product page for your specific vehicle before ordering.
Do these kits need a separate programmer?
No. The RSTOY6, RSTOY6A and RSTOY13 are all listed as requiring no programmer. That is the main reason to choose a vehicle-specific kit over a universal one, because the module arrives already configured for the platform it was built for.
What is the difference between the RFKIT1, RFKIT4 and RFKIT2W?
They are long-range upgrades rather than standalone starters, and each one adds an antenna, cable and a pair of remotes to a Kleinn starter you already have. The RFKIT1 comes with two 1-button remotes and is one-way. The RFKIT4 comes with two 4-button remotes and is also one-way. The RFKIT2W comes with two 4-button remotes and is two-way, which means the remote confirms back to you that the vehicle actually started instead of leaving you to guess from across a parking lot.
What does the MOBILE2W upgrade add?
MOBILE2W moves control from the key fob to your phone. It adds smartphone app control of a Kleinn remote starter along with GPS tracking, so you are no longer limited by how far a fob signal reaches and you can see where the vehicle is. Like the RFKIT antennas, it is an upgrade to an existing Kleinn starter rather than a complete system on its own. Check the product page for what the app service requires.
