TRAIL OF THE MONTH:

Mojave Road Trail

The 139 mile Mojave Road is filled with scenic beauty, history, and a sense of adventure it is no wonder it has such an iconic stature. Formed as an early Native American trade route then an east-west passage for settlers, the road has a long history and is also called Old Government Road. Today it is one of the more famous overland routes in the southwest. Although the road is not extremely technical, the sense of adventure you get by being so deep in the desert is what makes it worth the trip.

Joining us this month to tell us about their trip to Mojave Road Trail, @teksou took his Tacoma to this trail and shared his story with us.

How'd You Get Into Overlanding?

Just camping and hiking with family and friends.

What Cali Raised LED Products are you currently running

I currently have the 20” Slim Single Row LED Bar that helps me see when it’s dark setting up camp or getting to camp. I also have Bed Channel Supports that help keep my bed straight, and great for tie down points!

Have any upcoming trips planned?

Yes! In the new year I plan on heading to Moab and checking out Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.

What are some of your bucket list trails?

Rubicon Trail in California and Imogene Pass in Colorado.

Until next time! At Cali Raised LED, we not only want to encourage riders to try something new, (with all the proper precautions of course!) but also to not be too shy when it comes to checking out trails that they may not have thought possible. It's in our very slogan, "Rise Up and Seek Adventure." We really mean it.

Thank you to @teksou for sharing your story with us.

If you haven't figured it out yet, we've been featuring a trail or national park or other must see location each month of the year, and sometimes we are lucky enough to find other off-roaders who have been there. They are kind enough to share their experience and their expertise. Want to be featured? Have a trail you think we should feature? Submit your photos and story to partners@caliraisedled.com to be considered!
